The New York City Triathlon is an Olympic Distance race consisting of a 1500m swim, a 40k bike, and a 10k run. Over 3,000 athletes will take on the waters of the big Hudson River before biking along Manhattan’s West Side highway. To finish the triathlon, athletes take a run through New York’s Central Park.
The 2012 Sports and Fitness Expo will take place throughout the triathlon weekend, July 6-7. There will be something for every athlete at this enormous expo. The expo includes triathlon retailers, personal trainers, health specialists, information on equipment and nutrition, free samples, and key triathlon industry members to answer your important questions.
